By Brittany Diaz | 10 Min Read

We've gathered three more trends for snackable Spring interior design content - literally and figuratively - to get you into the season of feeling fresh and free!

1. Let's Get Colorful

Color palette is everything. We leave the warm and cozy neutrals of  winter behind, and amp up the play! Mixing demure pastels with tropical hues is trending in interior design, and for good reason. Textured guava pinks with softer terracottas, kiwi juice and morning matcha hues blended with avocado guac greens, grape sodas combined with lovely lavender purples, coconut milk whites, island mango and marigolds mixed with soft moon yellows ... well, you get the kaleidoscopic picture! Visually playing with color is good for the soul and imagination, so we recommend experimenting with combos that excite your senses.

With all this talk of fruit, we couldn't help but offer up our favorite mango lemonade recipe from Ayesha Curry. After all, we did say this was a picnic, didn't we? Can't you just picture this refreshing beauty atop your new glass coffee table.

2. Spring Flings

Comfy floral sheets, colorful throw pillows, or pastel rugs with geometric shapes - fling any of these little babies around your home and immediately feel the freshness of Spring. Take our client Janessa for example - inspired by painter Jan Skacelik, She wanted both soft pinky hues combined with bolder yellows and purples. So we flung a good coral colored, velvet circle pillow onto a comfy chair to amp up the pinks of her new paintings.

Or if a unique rug is more your speed, take a look at digital creator, Taylor Loren's choice for an '80s style rug from coldpicnic with geometric, floral shapes as an accent to her glass coffee table - we're so inspired! We're literally begging you to give us the chance to put it in one of our 3D designs we create for you!

3. Color Candles

Whether you're looking for bubble gum yum, lavender martini swirls, or just a simple, yet elegant rose petal taper candle, candles really do elevate the groovy level in your space. We consider ourselves completely influenced by digital creator Taylor Loren! I mean just look at her studio. *swooning in our daydream of scattered flower petals and candles*

We could be completely biased, but here at Collov, we're obsessed with our local vendor, The Home Ec. Studio for hand crafted, eco-friendly candles. Between the blend of soy and beeswax, the sophisticated scent of pink peonies and juicy grapefruits, and the abstract bubble cubes - how could we not be obsessed? It's clean burning luxury sent right to your door!

We're a sucker for Nicole's coconut milk neutrals, but 'tis the season for flower powering it up, so she's got the pastel picnic of colors ready for ya! Think seafoam greens, dusty blues, and soft peaches.
